Internship Program FAQs
The INROADS Internship Program works at the college level to prepare talented diverse students across the country for corporate readiness with business soft skills, real world leadership development activities, academic and career support, and an opportunity for a paid internship. Internship Opportunities are highly competitive.
This is a competitive process and internship opportunities are not guaranteed for any candidate. Candidates hear about internship opportunities based on availability and are matched based on major and/or career interest that fit with internship roles. Corporate Partners who interview INROADS candidate(s) make the final hiring decisions.
INROADS Internships are primarily full-time during the summer months. There are some limited micro-internships and fall/spring opportunities available. If you are interested please make that selection on your application or profile.
All INROADS internships are paid.
INROADS primarily offers internships to Full-Time undergraduate college students.
INROADS Talent Managers match students to opportunities based on the candidate’s major and career interests as that are a fit for the requirements specified for each internship opportunity.
Leadership development is essential to the success of the INROADS process, which combines career relevant, paid work experience, corporate mentorship, instructor led and experiential courses. Intern participation with coaching and training are required as a part of the internship. Interns benefit from the potential for a multi-year internship at top pay, potential for a full-time job offer, personalized coaching from an INROADS Program Manager, and networking with executives and career-minded peers through the INROADS Internship Program.
Qualified Candidates benefit from participating in the required INROADS Candidate Prep Session workshop, which is designed to enhance corporate interview readiness and provide students with an understanding of INROADS’ and our corporate partners’ expectations.
